About Us

Sunday Morning Baking Company is an up and coming black woman owned, small-batch baking company offering seasonal menus and elevated takes on classics. Our recipes are meant to showcase the flavor of the ingredients and the magic of simplicity. We specialize in elevated takes on home baking classics—now, we’re not competing with anyone’s Momma's banana bread, but we also won’t tell her if *cough* when you like ours more.

Our mission is to spread joy through the simple pleasure of enjoying comforting and nourishing baked goods. The world is entirely too chaotic and sometimes you just need to drown it out with a slice of pie, and a long yap with your friends, strangers, or favorite barista.

Sunday Morning Bakery is a community-focused bakery aiming to fill the gap for true "third spaces" that enrich the communities they serve. Our goal is to bring people together, encourage community engagement, and support local artists.

Being human is hard stuff. So yeah, you deserve a treat.

Come hang out and let us make you snacks!

SEE YOU SUNDAY MORNING.

Meet Our Team

Allison Terracino
Owner, Founder

Hi! I’m Allison! I am a (mostly) self-taught baker, coffee enthusiast, hiker, and New Jersey native. I am also the head baker, recipe developer, photographer, and kitchen clean-up crew here at Sunday Morning Baking Co.
Over the last decade or so, I’ve worked in a variety of restaurants/cafes in a management role. I’d spend 60+ hours each week in my full time restaurant jobs, only to go home, put on a fresh apron, and get right back in the kitchen. I’ve spent the last several years working with a national bakery chain helping to open 6 locations in 3 years. Now, it’s time to take all those reps and build my own dream shop—a place where folks can stay and yap with their neighbors and strangers alike. Where it always feels like the perfect Sunday morning, and everything tastes like the secret ingredient is love, because, well, it is.
